The machine identification settings were introduced on version 5.4.5.0 (May 2024). They explicitly defines each configuration to be used and organized by machine brand-> machine model -> controller brand -> controller model.
The settings are described below:

| Controller brand | The controller brand |
| Controller model | The controller model |
| Machine name/ID | This should be a identifier of the machine on your organization, for example Mach1; Lathe4 or something that it can be related with your machine. Avoid long names here |
