The profile name is the unique ID of a profile. This means that when a profile is being imported it must follow some rules so that it remains unique. For this reason the software will automatically provide the profile a unique name that will:
- Start with IMP (meaning imported)
- some lead in zeros until the profile name is 8 characters long
- a increased number in relation to the previous imported profile
The profile name is automatically attributed when the DXF file is successfully imported.
It is important to note that imported profiles can be renamed as any other profile, on the profile navigation window.
