Subscription plan

To have the software updated a valid subscription must be active.

The subscription starts in the date of the software acquisition and it is renewed in periods of one year. When the subscription is not renewed, updates and assistance are cancelled, but the software should maintain its normal activity. One remote assistance is included per renovation. If more assistances are needed please refer to the table below.

The subscription cost depends on the number of licenses that the customer has and when the subscription is renewed.

Office licenses are included on the total of licenses.

(1) The subscription value was paid before the end of one calendar year, counting from the last subscription start.

(2) The subscription was not paid while it was still active, but no more than 6 months passed since the time it should be renewed.

(3) The subscription was not paid while it was still active. More than 6 months passed, but less than 12 months.

(4) More than one year after the subscription ended.

Example cases

In the following example cases, it is considered that the client has 2 licenses (one machining and one office).

Client bought the software in 1 February 2016.

Inicial subscription period

The first year of subscription started 1 February 2016 and ends 31 January 2017.

This period is included with the software acquisition.

Case 1) Client renewed on time

Client decided to renew between 05 January 2017 and 31 March 2017.

Since the period is still under the 2 months flexibility, it is considered a “on time” payment.

Another year subscription is provided, considered the initial date and the subscription will be valid until 31 January 2018.

Case 2) Client renewed after 2 months passed, but less than 6

Client decided to renew between 01 April 2017 and 31 June 2017.

The renew is now more than 2 months and less than 6 months period after it ended.

Another year subscription is provided, considered the renew date. For example if the renew is done in 20 May 2017 it will be valid until 19 May 2018.

Case 3) Client renewed after 6 months passed, but less than 12

Client decided to renew between 01 July 2017 and 31 January 2018.

The renew is now more than 6 months and less than 12 months period after it ended.

Another year subscription is provided, considered the renew date. For example if the renew is done in 20 December 2017 it will be valid until 19 December 2018.

Case 4) Client renewed after 12 months

Client decided to renew in any date after 31 January 2018. In fact client decided to renew 18 September 2018.

The renew was made after 12 months passed from the end of the active subscription.

Another year subscription is provided, considered the renew date. It will be valid until 17 September 2019.

Subsequent periods

When a renew occurs, a new period start and the same rules apply to the new subscription period.
