A new updated version of webfastquote is now online (3 Dec 2025). It contains several updates and new features suggested by our customers that we will be looking at in this post. These include:
- Improved performance
- Stock oring is offered instead of machined orings
- Ability to set own assets, collections etc
- Translation of the storefront
Performance improvements
Updated all server packages with latest versions, and various code improvements have resulted in significant gains. Especially noticeable in a reduction of the time required to sync all profiles from FSC to the server.
Stock orings offer
All profiles that include an oring component, will now offer the closest compatible stock oring, if available. To enable this, two steps are required:
1. Sync the orings cross section data from FastSealCreator
2. Import your stock orings products to the store
To add your stock oring offer to the store catalog, we recommend using the csv import option. Start by downloading the CSV template:
The following rules must be ensured when adding data to the template:
- the “slug” must contain the word “oring”
- ID and CS must be present as option groups, and they should have the corresponding values, separated by | (pipe) character:
After importing the csv successfully, the products will have been created along with the variants for each option combination:
Suitable stock orings for the input nominals, will be offered:
Translation of categories
A language selector was added to the storefront. After the language is changed, it will be remembered for later visits to the store page.
The following elements can be translated by modifying the collection names. (note that there will always show the collection name and will not be translated due to some internal limitations).
